Bb...made reservations already to two restaurants - one is Bouchon thomas keller at the Venetian and the other is Le Aetlier by Joel Robuchon - not sure which one you would like but I think Christmas eve would be a good time to go to dinner..we still can see if we want to get other restaurants while we hold these two reservations.
Glad you came up to NYC and spend time with my colleagues...what do you think of them ... I will check out tomorrow what they think of you! ha ha. Anyway, looking forward to the Las Vegas trip.. just little scared scared to talk to your mom! ha ha ha... we see see ar.

Change..
Last night I was watching a food show - the chef is Jamie Oliver - he used to start out doing his cooking show in the UK - then got popular in the US ...now he is pretty popular with his own restaurant in the UK... last night's show was about him trying to change the british school menu - what the kids eat in the canteen over there..... it was interesting to see how he force the kids to eat chicken and pasta.... before that all the kids ate in school and at home were fried stuff..like chicken nuggets, fries etc... he even showed the kids how chicken nuggets are made... disgusting!! I don't think I want to eat processed chicken nuggest anymore! Anyway...the major thought in my head is - he made a change! it was not easy convinving all the schools to change the menu and getting the workers to learn new menus after "cooking" the same menu for years and years.... I think it took him one year to get a few schools to change and make the difference...after a while of eating the good food, the sample school kids were found to be more energetic, can concentrate better in class etc... what a difference. HMM...I wonder if we can make a change like that to an organisation or group of people... I think I am doing that here a little to the students....again that is what I like about eduction/teaching....using the school forum and making the students think in class...making a difference in the life of someone else....gives a little more meaning to our life to do so doesn't it? I wonder if I can find the same satisfaction in consulting...har har... Bb comment ar.
My comments:
I dont know if I have told you that I have been so proud of the job you are doing right now. I admire that you can be a good good teacher, devote your energy and knowledge to your local community. It's a very meaningful job. That's why I love you...you smart, you know what you are good at, you know how to bring yourself and other people to another level, you can make the world change, make our life change.and the most important thing is:
You have a great great heart....
Love you. Admire you. :)

NYC weekend...Oct07
After having a wonderful weekend, I decide to record all our "adventures" by pictures...
Saturday morning, we shopped at Amish market. Lots of fresh ingredients. Did I tell you I always enjoy grocery shopping with you?
We both loved the soundtrack and enjoyed a good laugh during the movie.
Dessert is at Kyotofu- a small charm we accidently found during our "walk". Doesn't it always feel good to find some "good surprise" by our own?
Is this the "city life" bb have been pictured for us? Is it because of you or food that I start to like NY? ;)
The chicken knee bone and meat balls are really good. BB liked the 35-min cooked chicken rices.
Saturday morning, we shopped at Amish market. Lots of fresh ingredients. Did I tell you I always enjoy grocery shopping with you?BB cooked a new pasta dish for me- Mushroom, Bacon, Basil with LOVE....good as usual. *^^*
We both loved the soundtrack and enjoyed a good laugh during the movie.
Catched up with friends and collegues for dinner- my Favorate: spicy hotpot! Although it's not as good as Little Lamb, I still enjoyed it. Thanks for picking the place!
Dessert is at Kyotofu- a small charm we accidently found during our "walk". Doesn't it always feel good to find some "good surprise" by our own? Love the sesame tofu....yummy...
Waked up in a sunny but windy sunday morning, we finally tried this cute french bistro close by. Loved the soup. Interesting taste of "uncooked" pork burger.
BB and I have some "serious talk" here...good good. Hope it helps to make both of use "stronger". ;)
Finally, my wonderful weekend ended at beautiful central park. (well, after a lengthy but healthy city walk: 43rd to 67th and back to 43rd). I really enjoy lying on the greens and looking at the sky, and day-dreaming with BB....
Is this the "city life" bb have been pictured for us? Is it because of you or food that I start to like NY? ;)
